The Garlic Restaurant located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida makes you feel like you have entered a  Tuscan country estate. Guests pass through a shaded cobblestone walkway into a beautiful garden area that includes an over sized outdoor fireplace, eclectic seating and well spaced tables. The ambiance and friendly staff of The Garlic is guaranteed to make your evening one to remember. As the name implies, guests are treated to a head of roasted garlic served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (mixed table side) with freshly baked loaves of warm bread.  Beware….don’t eat too much of the delicious bread because you’ll want to save room for dinner and dessert. They have an outdoor brick oven (IL FORNO) that is used for specialties like their 32oz. wood charred bone in ribeye. Other favorite dinner options  include Garlic Rack of Lamb or Pork Osso Buco. If you’re in the mood for pasta don’t miss their homemade Seafood Italiano, Pasta Puttanesca or Chicken Alfredo.  If  you do save room for dessert don’t pass up the scrumptious carrot cake. My daughter really enjoyed the chocolate lava cake but it was too rich for me.  I’ve been to The Garlic many times and have occasionally seen Peter Puzzo, the General Manager, serenade guests with his deep Italian baritone! The atmosphere is always friendly but  expect to wait  for a table on weekends. They also offer nightly piano entertainment and a nice wine selection. Early birds can also enjoy a limited discount  menu from 4pm – 5:30pm. We consider The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach  a family favorite!

    Hi just wanted to say that your resturant is beautiful.I hade chicken alfredo son had the calimari and mother in law had eggplant parmisan i think. Very good will come back when i visit next year.

    Don’t go. Very rude service. Had dinner with friend at bar and spent over $100. Friend was not finish drinking her wine and we were rudely ask to give up our seat for another customer who chose to stand. We were not finished but left yo avoid confrontation. Will never return if forced out after meal.
